Biography
Kim Mangone was born in Biloxi, Mississippi. She served in the U.S. Air Force from 1980 to 1986. Mangone earned a bachelor's degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.[1]

As an active duty member of USAF, now a veteran and the daughter of a veteran I have experienced the challenges and hardships of being an active duty military member and a family member of one.
As a Lead Systems Engineer I lead diverse teams of people in states across the nation to get things done. My experience as a systems engineer means I know how to accurately identify problems, find solutions to them, and how to get those solutions put in place.
From being a mechanic I know what it is like to have busted knuckles from working hard all day, I know and value that this country was built by the members of the working class.
I was a single working mom which means I really get the challenges of balancing home, work and finding good childcare.
