|I believe that we can and should do better. We deserve a state government that is effective and committed to creating laws that are fair for all. And to get that kind of government, we need to elect lawmakers who care about everyone who works and lives here.
Having grown up in Rochester and now raising my kids here, I understand the needs of our community. I want to work to improve our community and our state.- We need to prioritize policies that support caring for people. We must invest our children by fully funding our public schools, early childhood education and child care. We need to fully fund special education and close the federal math gap to reduce costs to our local districts and ensure all children who need specialized instruction and additional support can access it. We need to invest in and fund early childhood education and child care. Our early childhood educators must be paid a wage that reflects their value.
- Minnesota is a healthcare leader. We must improve access to affordable and quality health care, including reproductive care.
- We must support our unions and give voice to Minnesota’s workers. With strong and diverse workforce Minnesota can continue to be a leader in a variety of fields including green energy, technology, and healthcare.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
