Katherine Savers McGovern was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 32nd Congressional District of Texas.
McGovern was defeated by Republican incumbent Pete Sessions on November 6, 2012.[1]

McGovern ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Texas' 32nd District. She defeated Walter Hofheinz in the Democratic primary on May 29, 2012. She ran against incumbent Pete Sessions (R) and Seth Hollist (L) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
