Jimmy Eldridge
Jimmy A. Eldridge (b. April 1, 1948) is a former Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 73 from 2002 to 2018. Eldridge did not file to run for re-election in 2018.
Biography
Eldridge earned his B.S. in chemistry/biology from Lambuth University in 1971. At the time of his service in the state House, his professional experience included working as a farmer and owner of Allison-Eldridge Insurance Group, Incorporated. Eldridge served as chair of the Madison County Republican Party from 1998 to 2000. He had served as a commissioner on the Madison County Commission since 1998.

Eldridge won re-election in the 2012 election for Tennessee House of Representatives, District 73. Eldridge ran unopposed in the August 2 primary election and defeated Corey Currie (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[7][8]

Eldridge won re-election to the 73rd District seat in 2010. He was unopposed in the August 5 primary.[9] He also faced no opposition in the general election on November 2, 2010.[10]
