Jefferson Moss (Republican Party) is a member of the Utah House of Representatives, representing District 51. He assumed office on January 1, 2023. His current term ends on January 1, 2027.
Moss (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Utah House of Representatives to represent District 51. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Moss began serving as state House majority leader in 2023.[1]
Biography
Jefferson Moss graduated from Orem High School. Moss earned a B.A. in political science in 2002 and an M.B.A. with an emphasis in entrepreneurship and finance in 2009, both from Brigham Young University. He also earned a certificate in financial planning from New York University. Moss' career experience includes working as an entrepreneur and startup founder, portfolio consultant for Spring Capital, division executive director and foundation COO at Utah Valley University, and executive director of the Innovation District at The Point.[2]
Moss served on the Saratoga Springs City Council and planning commission. He was elected to the Utah State Board of Education. Moss also served on the Utah State Board of Regents, the board of the Hale Centre Theatre, American Indian Services, the Stem Action Center, and ConnectShare.[2]
