Efforts to recall Mayor Jay Tibshraeny and Councilman Rick Heumann in Chandler, Arizona, from their positions were launched in August 2015. The recall against Tibshraeny was dropped in early September 2015.[1] As of December 2015, this recall effort appeared to be abandoned and Ballotpedia discontinued active coverage. Recall supporters
Tibshraeny and Heumann were targeted for recall for not opposing the installation of an above-ground power line running through the city by the Salt River Project.[1]

Petitioners had until December 12, 2015, to collect 5,860 signatures against each in order to move the recall forward. Prior to the effort ending, supporters needed to collect 6,378 against Tibshraeny.[1]
