Jan Hochadel (Democratic Party) is a member of the Connecticut State Senate, representing District 13. She assumed office on January 4, 2023. Her current term ends on January 6, 2027.
Hochadel (Democratic Party, Working Families Party) ran for re-election to the Connecticut State Senate to represent District 13. She won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Jan Hochadel earned a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of New Haven and a master's degree in education from Sacred Heart University. Hochadel's career experience includes working as an engineer, a teacher, and an advocate. She has served as the vice president of American Federation of Teachers (AFT) Washington, D.C., and a co-titular of the Americas with Public Service International (PSI).[1]
