Julie Hamos
Julie Hamos (b. January 29, 1949) was a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 18th District from 1999 until her resignation in April 2010. Hamos left her seat after being appointed as Director of the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services by Gov. Pat Quinn.[1]
Hamos has served as Legislative Director of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees. She has also been Director of the Child Support Division and a Policy Advisor for the Cook County State's Attorney, and President of Julie E. Harmos and Associates.[2]
