|As our School Board Member, Julie will work to: ensure academic excellence in every neighborhood school, improve college counseling services, promptly respond to questions and concerns from parents, expand S.T.E.A.M. programs so that students are prepared for college, support teachers as they return to full-time in-person instruction, and responsibly manage our district’s budget.
Professionally, Julie currently serves as Executive Director of Development at UC San Diego, and volunteers as a Boardmember for the Canyon Crest Academy Foundation and as an advisor for the Autism Tree Project Foundation.
A graduate of Scripps College with a master’s degree in Public Administration from USC, Julie has spent the past three decades working in non-profit organizations focused on education, health, and community improvement.
