John Griesheimer (b. July 19, 1952) is a former Republican member of the Missouri State Senate. He represented the 26th District from 2003 to 2011.

Griesheimer earned his AA from East Central College.

Griesheimer is an Automobile Salesman. Griesheimer and his wife, Rita, have three children.

Griesheimer was a Washington County Councilman from 1982 to 1988. He was also Franklin County Commissioner from 1989 to 1992. He served in the Missouri State House of Representatives from 1992 to 2002. He joined the Missouri State Senate in 2002. He has served in that position since, representing the 26th District.

Griesheimer reached his term limits and was ineligible to run for re-election to the 26th District seat in 2010. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[1]


2006

On November 7, 2006, Griesheimer won re-election to the 26th District Seat in the Missouri State Senate, defeating Gene Tyler (D).[2]

On November 5, 2002, Griesheimer won election to the 26th District Seat in the Missouri State Senate, defeating Donald Meyer (D).[3]
