John C. Rambo is the chancellor for the First District Chancery Court, which presides over Carter, Johnson, Unicoi, and Washington counties in Tennessee.[1] He was appointed to the court by Governor Bill Haslam on August 6, 2013, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of G. Richard Johnson.[2] Rambo ran for election to the court and was elected unopposed on August 7, 2014, for an eight-year term expiring August 31, 2022.[3][4]
