Joey Pendleton
Joey Pendleton (b. May 3, 1946) is a former Democratic member of the Kentucky State Senate, representing District 3 from 1993 to 2013 and serving as State Senate President Pro Tempore in 1999. Pendleton was a Magistrate on the Fiscal Court of Christian County from 1990 to 1993.
Pendleton attended Hopkinsville Community College in 1965. He also attended Murray State University from 1964 to 1968.
Pendleton was a Dairy Farmer for the Farm Loan Office of the First City Bank and Trust Company from 1968 to 1973. He worked as a Sales Representative for WR Grace and Company from 1972 to 1973. He was enlisted in the Army National Guard from 1968 to 1974. He was also Regional Manager of WR Grace and Company from 1973 to 1975. Pendleton then worked as Owner/Operator of Greenlawn Farms from 1976 to 2004. He is a farmer and Project Manager for the School of Agriculture at Murray State University.

Pendleton ran for re-election in the 2012 election for Kentucky State Senate District 3. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on May 22, 2012, and was defeated by Whitney Westerfield in the general election on November 6, 2012.[1][2]

2008
On November 4, 2008, Pendleton won re-election to the 3rd District Seat in the Kentucky State Senate, defeating opponent Tom Jones (R).[3] Pendleton raised $264,390 for his campaign, while Jones raised $173,902.[4]
