Joseph Scafa
Joseph Scafa was a 2011 independent candidate for District 26 of the New Jersey State Senate. Scafa was also 2011 Republican candidate for District 26 of the New Jersey General Assembly. Scafa withdrew from that race in April 2011.[1]

Scafa was defeated for election to the District 26 State Senate seat in 2011. Scafa was defeated by Joseph Pennacchio in the general election which took place on November 8, 2011.[2]
2011 (Assembly)
Scafa was a candidate for the 2011 Republican Party nomination for District 26 of the New Jersey General Assembly. Scafa was set to face Alex DeCroce and Jay Webber in the June 7 primary, however, Scafa withdrew from the race in April. Republican candidate Gary Steele was disqualified and removed from the ballot in late April. DeCroce and Webber advanced to the general election on November 8, 2011.[3]
