Jon Switalski
Jonathan "Jon" Switalski is a former Democratic member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 28 from 2009 to 2014. Switalski did not seek re-election in 2014.
Switalski served two terms as a Macomb County Commissioner. He also previously worked as an aide to former U.S. Congressman David Bonior and as an advocate for health workers for the Service Employees International Union.
Biography
Switalski earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Grand Valley State University.

Switalski won re-election in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 28. He defeated incumbent Lesia Liss in the August 7 Democratic primary and defeated Steven Klusek (R) in the general election which took place on November 6. 2012.[1][2]

2010
Switalski won re-election to the District 25 seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition. He defeated Sean Clark in the general election on November 2, 2010.[3][4]
2008
On November 4, 2008, Switalski ran for District 25 of the Michigan House of Representatives, beating Michael Wiecek, James Allison, Richard Kuszmar, and Steven Revis.[5]
