Idaho Revenue from Motor Vehicles, HJR 3 (1940)

The Idaho Revenue from Motor Vehicles Amendment, also known as House Joint Resolution 3, was on the November 5, 1940 ballot in Idaho as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure restricted the use of revenue collected from gas taxes and motor vehicle registration fees to be used exclusively for construction and maintenance of highways.[1][2]
