Henry J. Nowak is a judge of the New York Supreme Court 8th Judicial District. His current term ends on January 1, 2039.

Nowak (Democratic Party, Republican Party, Conservative Party, Working Families Party) ran for re-election for judge of the New York Supreme Court 8th Judicial District. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.

Biography

Nowak received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1990 and 1993, respectively. Nowak began his career in 1994 as an associate of the law firm of Lipsitz, Green, Fahringer,Roll, Salisbury & Cambria, L.L.P. He later became a partner of this firm, where he worked until 1999. From 1999 to 2002, he practiced as an associate with Connors & Vilardo, L.L.P. He was elected to the Buffalo City Court in 2003. He then joined the Supreme Court in 2011.
