Henry Sanders
Henry "Hank" Sanders is a former Democratic member of the Alabama State Senate, representing District 23 from 1982 to 2018. Sanders filed for re-election in 2018, but withdrew before the primary election.[1]
Biography
Sanders was born on October 28, 1942. He earned his bachelor's degree from Talledega University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School. His professional experience includes working as an attorney.

Elections for the Alabama State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014; a runoff election took place where necessary on July 15, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Incumbent Henry Sanders defeated Robert W. Green in the Democratic primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[2][3][4][5]
