Houston Community College Annexations (November 2009)
Two Houston Community College Annexations propositions was on the November 3 ballot in Harris County for voters in the city of Houston. One was approved while the second was defeated.[1]
The Houston Community College system had two propositions on the ballot that asked voters to annex parts of the school districts in order to create a junior college district. The two propositions were as follows:
- Proposition 1, North Forest Independent School District The annexation of the following territory for junior college purposes: the territory within all of the North Forest Independent School District.
- Proposition 2, Spring Branch Independent School District The annexation of the following territory for junior college purposes: the territory within all of the Spring Branch Independent School District.[2]
