George Ambler
George Ambler (Republican Party) (also known as Boogie) was a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 42. He assumed office on December 1, 2012. He left office on December 1, 2018.
Ambler (Republican Party) ran for election to the West Virginia House of Delegates to represent District 47. He lost in the Republican primary on May 14, 2024.
Biography
Ambler was born in Alderson, West Virginia. When he served in the state House, he lived in Fort Spring, West Virginia. He earned a bachelor's degree in education from Bluefield State College in 1990.[1][2]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 25, 2014. District 42 is represented by two delegates. Coy Flowers and Courtney Jesser defeated Richard Dulee in the Democratic primary. Incumbents George Ambler and Denny Canterbury were unopposed in the Republican primary. Ambler and Canterbury defeated Flowers and Jesser in the general election.[7][8]
