I have been a proud resident of North Dakota for 30+ years. I graduated from the University of ND in Grand Forks with a Composite Social Studies degree in Education. I found my passion for education through coaching high school football which I started at age 17 and continued for 15 years. I am currently teaching Latin and History at Capstone Classical Academy. I serve in Library Ministry at Salem EFC and play on their softball team. In my free time I enjoy reading, playing video and board games, and hiking - but none of those things simultaneously.
  • Education - Creating a supportive learning environment that helps students excel academically and continue to succeed.
  • Fargo's Economy - Implementing an environment that attracts businesses, supports entrepreneurs, and encourages innovation.
  • Behavioral Health - Address mental health & substance abuse by expanding care access, developing programs, & early intervention.
Supporting education, investing in Fargo's economy, advocating for behavioral health, supporting law enforcement.
Elected officials should have the Humility to listen to other people, the Integrity to disregard dishonest advice, and a proper respect for the position and the people they serve.
The core responsibility of a Representative is to represent their people.
I would like to think that my legacy will be setting up a secure future by improving education, balancing the budget, and by protecting our liberty.
It's the governor's job to carry out the policy and laws written by the state legislature. It's important that policy and law originates in the legislature and not in the governor's office.
Education, economy/workforce, our state's dependence on oil revenue. Our budget is unstable because the price of oil is unstable. For us to have a stable future, we will have to be independent of oil.
Education, Health & Human Services, Workforce Development.
I believe in a clear and transparent process for handling the public's money and examinations on the programs we implement to ensure accountability.
I would support changes to the initiative process which restrict out of state organizations and money from interfering in our lives.
