Greg Perkes
Greg Perkes (Republican Party) was a judge for Place 6 of the Texas Thirteenth District Court of Appeals. He assumed office in 2019. He left office on December 31, 2020.
Perkes (Republican Party) ran for election for judge of the Texas 28th District Court. He lost in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Perkes was a Republican candidate for Place 2 judge of the Texas Thirteenth District Court of Appeals. He lost the general election on November 6, 2018, after advancing from the primary on March 6, 2018.
Perkes was a justice on the Thirteenth District Court of Appeals from 2011 to 2016. He was elected to the court in November 2010 and assumed office in 2011.[1][2] He was defeated in his bid for re-election in 2016. His term expired on December 31, 2016.
Biography
Greg Perkes lives in Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated from McAllen High School in 1978. He earned a B.A. in zoology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1983 and a J.D. from St. Mary's University School of Law in 1987.[3][4]
Perkes’ career experience includes working as an attorney with Wood & Burney, Meredith, Donnell, & Abernethy, P.C, and Perkes Law Firm, P.C. and as a briefing attorney for Associate Justice Norman Utter, Sr. of the Thirteenth District Court of Appeals.[5][4]
