Education

Fattah received a bachelor's degree in English and African American studies from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997. She earned her J.D. from Fordham University.

Career

Fattah began her legal career in 2002 as a litigation associate at Schnader Harrison. Then she joined Wolf Block LLP as the manager of diversity initiatives and a lawyer on the Tax Review Board. She served as associate general counsel and then became deputy general counsel in 2008 for the Chester Upland School District. Fattah also works as a consultant in strategy and fundraising.
