Frances Fattah
Frances Fattah was a 2015 candidate for the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. She was defeated in the Democratic primary on May 19, 2015.[1]

Pennsylvania's judicial elections included a primary on May 19, 2015, and a general election on November 3, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates was March 11, 2015.

Education
Fattah received a bachelor's degree in English and African American studies from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997. She earned her J.D. from Fordham University.[2]
Career
Fattah began her legal career in 2002 as a litigation associate at Schnader Harrison. Then she joined Wolf Block LLP as the manager of diversity initiatives and a lawyer on the Tax Review Board. She served as associate general counsel and then became deputy general counsel in 2008 for the Chester Upland School District. Fattah also works as a consultant in strategy and fundraising.[2]
