Frances Ann Hurley
Frances Ann Hurley (Democratic Party) was a member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing District 35. She assumed office in 2013. She left office on February 28, 2023.
Hurley (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Illinois House of Representatives to represent District 35. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Hurley resigned from the Illinois House of Representatives after she was appointed to the Illinois Labor Relations Board.[1]
Biography
Hurley earned her B.S. in Criminal Justice from Saint Xavier University. Her professional experience includes being the former aide to Aldermans Ginger Rugai and Matthew O’Shea.[2]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was December 2, 2013. Incumbent Frances Ann Hurley ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Victor C. Horne ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Hurley then defeated Horne in the general election.[10][11][12][13]

Hurley won election in the 2012 election for Illinois House of Representatives District 35. Hurley defeated Anthony R. Martin and Andrew Byrne Hodorowicz in the March 20 Democratic primary, and defeated Ricardo Fernandez (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[14][15][16]
