Edward Whitson (1852-1910) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington.

He was nominated by President Theodore Roosevelt on March 10, 1905 to fill a seat created by 33 Stat. 824. He was confirmed by the Senate on March 14th, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on October 15, 1910. Whitson was succeeded in this position by Frank Rudkin.
