|- South Dakota's legislature does not always prioritize the real-world needs of South Dakotans. A vote for me is a vote for a representative who will stay focused on the issues, not special interests.
- As a healthcare provider, I have experience reviewing complex information and working with people to find a plan that works for them. I'll bring those skills to Pierre.
- I promise to work hard for you and with you to address the issues facing our state and our community. I won't be controlled by outside groups or special interests.
EDUCATION: a free, safe public education is the right of every child. In order to provide for that right, schools need the staff and the resources. Our teachers are some of the lowest paid in the nation and as a result we are losing qualified teachers to other states.
THE ECONOMY: South Dakotans deserves a thriving economy, and we have many of the resources and tools to make it happen. We can leverage these resources and the tremendous work ethic of our people to create a workforce that includes and benefits all of us.
OUR RIGHTS: Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. These are the rights our country's founding fathers identified. As a society and as a state, we need to ensure every citizen's rights are protected - particularly the rights of the vulnerable and the under-represented. People whose rights are protected and clearly outlined are better able to fully participate in our society and our economy.
I believe that a practical approach and kindness, when combined with a sold work ethic make for an elected leader that will strive to do their best for their community.
