Campaign themes
2014
McManus' campaign website highlighted the following issues:[2]
Proscute AWOL Bush et al
- Excerpt: "An honorable person must stand up to prosecute Bush et al for war crimes. Our nation can not avoid the responsibilities of a global leader and to be an honorable nation we must prosecute Bush et al for war crimes."
Oligarchy
- Excerpt: "We now live in an oligarchy where some 74 dynastic kings rule. I am just sure the WalMart kids can each be just as happy with half of their $49 billion in wealth."
Funding schools
- Excerpt: "We are not funding our public schools with enough money. We have a state that is rule by an minority when it takes a 2/3rds vote to raise taxes. A representative democracy is where a 50.01 percent vote rules."
The end of cheap oil and natural gas
- Excerpt: "No sustainable energy source will rescue us from an extreme disaster."
- Excerpt: "We need to ETHCIALLY [sic] reduce our population. US citizens have a right to want zero population growth and immigration is preventing that goal from happening."
Global warming
- Excerpt: "We are in a new era without cheap oil and natural gas. It takes natural gas to produce nitrogen fertilizer."
- Excerpt: "Global warming is an extreme emergency worse than World War Two."
