Deyon Dean
Deyon Dean (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago in Illinois. Dean lost in the Democratic primary on March 17, 2020.
Dean was a 2018 Democratic candidate for District 30 of the Illinois House of Representatives. Dean was removed from the ballot before the primary election.[1]
Dean was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 30 of the Illinois House of Representatives. He was removed from the ballot on January 14, 2014, after the Electoral Board for Cook County found that Dean had an insufficient amount of valid signatures.[2]

Elections for the Illinois House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on March 18, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was December 2, 2013. Incumbent William Davis was set to face Deyon L. Dean in the Democratic primary, but Dean was removed from the ballot on January 14, 2014, leaving Davis unopposed. Davis was unchallenged in the general election.[3][4][5]
