Born in the heart of California’s central valley, Tulare, California, I lived there for the first 28 years of my life. We moved to Alpine County in 2002 where I began my career as a deputy sheriff and public safety officer.

As a public safety officer, my primary role is law enforcement. Additionally, I serve as a fireman and EMT, which has enabled me to handle medical and fire emergencies. I have also been able to serve the state on numerous wildfires, including the Creek Fire and August Complex Fires last year and the Tamarack Fire this year. I have also overseen and assisted with numerous search and rescue efforts in Alpine and Calaveras counties.

My wife and I have been married for 22 years. We have two children and one grandchild.
  • I am pro-God, pro-family, pro-liberty.
  • I will fight for the rights and growth of small businesses.
  • I am pro-gun, pro-second amendment.
As a lifelong citizen, I have seen the glory days of the pursuit and value of the American dream, which enabled me, and countless other Californians, to prosper and thrive.

Recent state administrators have hindered the opportunity of this pursuit for my children, grandchildren, and future generations by compromising public safety, overburdening small business, and pursuing self interest over the interests and benefits of the citizens of California as a whole.

I am running for governor for California to reset the course of this state, and even the United States by promoting public safety, relieving unnecessary burdens placed on any business that is not mutually beneficial to the business and the citizens, and by increasing the voice of the individuals of California by making the government smaller.

I am pro-God, pro-family, pro-gun, pro-life, pro-law enforcement, pro-California.
I am an respectful person who listens well. I am able to work as a member of a team but will make executive decisions when necessary. I value all human life from conception to final breath regardless of gender, nationality, skin color, and other characteristics that make us all unique individuals.
I was 16 when the Berlin wall fell. I remember the "great evil of the east of Germany" and Russia's influence had fallen. It is evidence today that communism as a government and as a mindset does not work.
The Bible. I always read it.
"Chasing Dragons" I know what the song is about, but it is a catchy tune and it gets stuck in my head.
I have dyslexia and dysgraphia. I struggled with this in school and was called "stupid" by teachers. It has threatened my job. It is a struggle now as I have someone else transcribe my words.
I have a responsibility to act on behalf of all Californians for their well-being and safety. I am believe that these are best identified by God through the Bible. I will listen to what the people have to say. Knowing I can't please all people all the time, I will seek to do what is best through prayer and based on Biblical principles.
Mutual respect and collaboration. When we don't agree, we work toward compromise, not division, nor degradation of individuals or groups.
Political division is our state's greatest challenge because "if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand." Mark 3:25
I love to dad jokes. They make my wife laugh.
