Dennis Parrett (Democratic Party) was a member of the Kentucky State Senate, representing District 10. He assumed office on January 1, 2011. He left office on January 1, 2023.

Parrett (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Kentucky State Senate to represent District 10. He won in the general election on November 6, 2018.

On August 23, 2017, Senate Democrats elected Parrett as minority whip. He replaced state Sen. Julian Carroll (D), who was removed from the position on July 23, 2017, after he was accused of sexual harassment.[1]

Dennis received his B.S. in agricultural economics from the University of Kentucky in 1981. His professional experience includes working as co-owner of Cecilia Farm Service.
