David Jenkins (Republican Party) is a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 136. He assumed office on January 9, 2023. His current term ends on January 11, 2027.
Jenkins (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Georgia House of Representatives to represent District 136. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Jenkins also ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Georgia's 3rd Congressional District. He did not appear on the ballot for the Republican primary on May 21, 2024.
Biography
David Jenkins was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and lives in Grantville, Georgia. Jenkins served in the U.S. Army from 1989 to 2015 and reached the rank of captain. He earned a bachelor's degree in technical management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2008.[1][2][3][4]
Jenkins' career experience includes owning Jenkins Farms and working as a lead pilot with Air Methods, a lead helicopter pilot with the Georgia Forestry Commission, and a police officer with Clayton County. He served on the board of the Roosevelt Memorial Airport Authority and as the master of Tyrone Lodge #644.[1][2][3][4]
