|I moved to Alaska in 1981. As an Independent business man I opened a chain a sandwich shops beginning in 1983 called The pickle Barrel Deli. After years, I sold them and bought Illusions food company which is a Wholesale bakery. Additionally, I did some commercial fishing in Prince William Sound. Currently my part-time job is a Marine surveyor appraiser and surveying boats for people.
I could see the way our politics are going here in Alaska and it bothered me so I felt I should get involved so I filed to run for the House seat in my district. Juneau needs some common sense legislators who have a background in meeting a payroll and balancing a checkbook.- The PFD is a small portion of the citizens of Alaska's mineral rights. It is completely wrong for the government to not live within its means and then to take the PFD from the people. This is essentially a tax burden on the elders and less fortunate citizens of our state.
