David W. Robinson
David Robinson was a member of the Houston City Council in Texas, representing At-large Position 2. Robinson assumed office in 2014. Robinson left office on January 2, 2024.
Robinson ran for re-election to the Houston City Council to represent At-large Position 2 in Texas. Robinson won in the general runoff election on December 14, 2019.
Biography
Robinson received a bachelor's degree in architecture from Yale College and a master's degree in architecture from Rice University. Robinson is an architect with experience that includes assisting with the design of the U.S. Embassy in Jordan and the Texas Children's Hospital. He started his architectural firm in 1999. He also teaches at Texas Tech University.[1]

The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was August 24, 2015.[2] In the race for At-Large Position 2, Willie R. Davis and incumbent David W. Robinson defeated Andrew Burks Jr., Eric Dick and Moe Rivera in the general election. Robinson defeated Davis in a runoff election on December 12, 2015.[3][4]
