Douglas R.M. Nazarian is a judge of the Appellate Court of Maryland 2nd Appellate Circuit. He assumed office on January 1, 2013. His current term ends on December 31, 2034.
Nazarian ran for re-election for judge of the Appellate Court of Maryland 2nd Appellate Circuit. He won in the retention election on November 5, 2024.
Nazarian was appointed to the court by Democratic Governor Martin O'Malley.[1][2] The Maryland Court of Special Appeals became the Appellate Court of Maryland, following a 2022 constitutional amendment that changed the court's name.[3]
Biography
Nazarian received his B.A. in psychology from Yale in 1988 and his J.D. from Duke University School of Law in 1991.[4]
