Biography
Parsons' professional experience includes working as an operations manager with Bellsouth Telecommunications, businessman, and telecom consultant. He served as a master sergeant in the United States Army Reserve Signal Corp from 1978 to 1990.

Parsons served on the Cobb County Juvenile Court Citizens Review Panel from 1995-1999, and currently is a member of the ALEC Telecommunications Committee, Kiwanis Club of Marietta, and the First United Methodist Church in Marietta.[15]
