A City of Buellton Hotel Tax, Measure D was on the November 6, 2012, ballot for voters the City of Buellton in Santa Barbara County, where it was approved.[1]
Measure D increased the lodging tax paid by those who stay at hotels, motels and other forms of transient lodging in the City of Buellton from 10% to 12%.
A simple majority vote was required for approval.

The question on the ballot:
Measure D: "Shall Section 3.28.030 of the Buellton Municipal Code be amended to increase the Transient Occupancy Tax rate, which applies only to transient occupants of hotels (as defined in Section 3.28.020), from ten percent (10%) to twelve percent (12%)?"[2] |
