Christine Edwards earned a high school diploma from Bloomingdale High School. Edwards earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida in 2007. Edwards earned a law degree from the Stetson University College of Law in 2012. Edwards' career experience includes working as an attorney at law.[1]

trajectory of my career and life. Since then, I have dedicated my life in pursuit of that passion. My true passion is connecting with people and the experience of the courtroom. I believe the courtroom is the arena where the greatest work is being done to help others. As someone who walked side by side many people navigating the court system, I have an insight and awareness of the immense responsibility and privilege it is to have someone put their full trust in you. I value trust as the most important quality of a judge because they make decisions that will profoundly
impact someone else’s life. - I have a unique skill set and diverse courtroom experience. I currently handle a case load of 300 people suffering with mental health and substance abuse disorders which represent the most vulnerable and misunderstood individuals in our community. Gaining and maintaining the trust of those most fearful and critical of the judicial system, is an asset to any Court. While I am assigned to a problem-solving court, the challenges I see every day are not unique to one Court, they are a consideration in every single courtroom, What is unique is the daily interaction with the Court and with those who make the courtroom function, in a capacity most lawyers don’t. I go to work in a a courtroom nearly every single day, and have for the past 12 years
- I believe a judge should be attentive. Being open and unassuming in receiving information is paramount to a fair decision because you cannot get to a fair decision unless both sides are heard. I believe a judge should be prepared, not only relying on one’s own breadth of knowledge, but humility to ask questions that will get to the crux of the issue to be decided. By listening and being well informed, a judge can be confident in rendering an impartial decision rooted in the law.
