Code Revision Committee, Georgia House of Representatives
The Code Review Committee is a standing committee of the Georgia House of Representatives.
Per the House Rules, committees of the Georgia House of Representatives are assigned by the Speaker of the House.[1] Committees are assigned after each election.[2] A quorum is not defined in the rules. The Speaker, Speaker pro Tempore, Majority Leader, and Majority Whip are all ex officio members of every committee, except the Speaker who is only an ex officio member of the Rules committee.[3]

Function
“ | Code Revision is responsible for technical and grammatical revisions of Georgia's statutes. Its goal is to revise, modernize, and correct errors or omissions in Georgia's Code and to repeal those portions which have become obsolete, have been declared to be unconstitutional, or have been preempted or superseded by subsequent laws.[4][5] | ” |
