Bill Lant
Bill Lant (b. January 18, 1947) is a former Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 159 from 2011 to 2019.
Lant was unable to run for re-election in 2018 to the Missouri House of Representatives because of term limits.
Biography
Lant earned his A.A. from Jasper County Junior College. At the time of his service in the legislature, his professional experience included working as the owner of Lant's Feed & Farm Supply and as a salesman and account executive at ABF Freight Systems.

Elections for the Missouri House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election was held on August 5, 2014, and a general election on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 25, 2014. Incumbent Bill Lant was unopposed in the Republican primary and was unopposed in the general election.[4][5][6]

Lant won re-election in the 2012 election for Missouri House of Representatives, District 159. Lant defeated Freddie Jennings in the August 7 Republican primary and ran unopposed in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[7][8]
