|We have a daughter who graduated from Regents School of Austin (where Amelia taught for many years) and is a freshman at DePaul University in Chicago studying Film Direction and Production; and a son who is a junior at Hyde Park High School. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Texas - San Antonio.
I began my college career (and my conservative political enthusiasm) at UT Austin where I worked for the Texas House of Representatives and for several political campaigns while I was in school. After landing a summer job with an environmental engineering firm, I stayed on and began working full time while I finished my degree at UTSA.
I have a diverse work history in numerous fields from Environmental Field Science, Biotech, Early-Stage Bio and Applied Technology Development, Logistics Management and Medical Device development and Quality Engineering. My positions ranged from technician, to sales, to management, to CEO.
I have previously served in Travis County as a Precinct Chair and as an election judge on several occasions. I have a passion to serve as a citizen leader and the opportunity to serve as State Representative has presented itself at a perfect time in my life.
I am looking forward to reclaiming HD-48 for the Republican Party!
Reverse the decline of Austin's livability.
- Redirect state spending to fundamental government roles of infrastructure and justice.
- Deliver a more equitable education funding system and improve the educational opportunities for our students.
