|- Jobs: Promoting economic growth through workforce development: Many of the areas throughout the 26th Senate district are still recovering from the loss of manufacturing in the last thirty years. The disappointments of the past, however, are our opportunities for the future. We are seeing success with repurposing our empty factories and reeducating our workforce for local employment. Ohio and President Trump's policies are easing the burden on businesses by cutting regulations and taxes. We need to continue reform with our workforce development programs and education systems here in Ohio to successfully keep up with the rapid change in technology. Many students are falling through the cracks and we need to offer them the opportunity to find
- Leadership: Protecting our rights and values I am a conservative who will protect our rights and values in Columbus. I am the only candidate to be endorsed by Ohio Right to Life, the NRA, and Buckeye Firearms Association. I have always maintained an 'A' rating from the NRA in my previous campaigns because of my 100% voting record on the 2nd Amendment. Finally, I am a strong proponent of personal property rights and local control. In Northwest Ohio, large wind companies are attempting to build wind farms without the say of the local community. I am sponsoring legislation to give the community a voice on large scale wind projects in local townships.
- Solutions: Getting things done: The 26th Senate District needs a Senator who can get things done for the people. I have a record of accomplishment as a businessman and representative, and I am the only qualified choice for Republicans in this primary. That is why I have the support of the Ohio Republican Party, Congressmen Jim Jordan and Troy Balderson, incumbent Senator Dave Burke, and other conservative leaders across the 26th Senate District.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
