Benjamin Brooks is a constitutionalist and has been a paralegal for 20 years. He is an experienced realtor and entrepreneur. Benjamin has served as the Director of Programs for 3 years with a Jonesboro non-profit organization, where he served families in need and also provided abstinence education to Clayton County public school students. He believes that government should not be larger than the needs of its constituents, and that the Constitution was designed to secure and uphold man's god given rights.

Benjamin enjoys helping others and has always had a heart for service and defending others. He is a husband, father, and grandfather of 5 grandchildren he adores.

If elected, Benjamin will use his many years of knowledge and experience as a paralegal to protect the citizens of Clayton and Dekalb counties. He will speak the truth even when not popular. Benjamin will make sure that through his leadership his constituents will regain their confidence that their interests are being served and their votes counted.
  • People Over Politics: My alliance is to my party, but above all else, my allegiance is to my constituents.
  • Question Everything: If it has not been working for you, your family, or community then consider your options.
  • Accountability: Public officials must be as liable for their actions as are the people to their government.
Corruption; public health/safety; environment; criminal justice/judicial systems; taxation; education; transportation.
That they observe their oath and follow the Constitution.
My legal knowledge and skill gives me a competitive edge over others that do not have the same knowledge of our laws and its underlying constitutional principles.
To protect the interests of their constituents; identify areas of growth and to help fill those gaps; and to advance legislation that furthers the goals of their district and that of the state as a whole.
The Lion and the Throne. This book spoke to the duty and obligation of people to protect liberty, and noted the abuses of authority when unchecked.
Our constitution was written to include representation from all walks of life, not just solely from amongst the elite or privileged.
Balancing population growth; keeping pace with maintenance of our infrastructure; addressing transportation concerns; preventing urban sprawl; public health and infectious disease control; corruption; and balancing the budgets.
