Ben Watt has ministered for over twenty years to families and youth in the greater Peoria area as a pastor, mentor, foster parent, Peoria Public Schools volunteer and bus driver. He helped hundreds of people succeed when he served as the HR Director at Illinois' largest motorcoach company. He is married and has four children. He resides with his family on the west side of Peoria.

5 core values guide his political perspective:

Life (Protect it.)

Liberty (Defend it.)

Truth (Tell it.)

Compassion (Live it.)

Faith (Embrace it.)
  • Ben will work hard to protect the rights of parents and children.
  • Ben will be genuine and honest and buck the trend of corruption and political malpractice in our government.
  • Ben will bring fresh ideas to reduce crime, reduce taxes, and reform pensions without breaking our promises to employees who've already earned their pension.
Protection of innocent children.

School choice regardless of income.

Pension reform.

Reduce the number of governmental bodies - Illinois has over 9,000 governmental bodies - more than New York or California!
