Ben Ferry
Ben Ferry (independent) ran for election to the Utah House of Representatives to represent District 1. Ferry lost as a write-in in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Ferry is on the Utah Republican Party Executive Committee. He has also served as the County Chair of the Box Elder County Republican Party Executive Committee. He joined the Utah House of Representatives in 1999 and served in that position since until 2011.
Ferry has worked in Agri-Business as a rancher, farmer, and Commercial Feedlot Operator.
Ferry earned his B.S. from Brigham Young University. He went on to receive his M.B.A. from the University of Utah.

Note: Joel Ferry (R) resigned from the Utah House of Representatives in August 2022 but remained on the general election ballot. Thomas Peterson (R) was appointed to replace Ferry in the state House in September 2022.[1]

2010
Ferry ran for re-election to the 2nd District Seat in 2010 but did not receive the Republican nomination at the primary convention.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Ferry won re-election to the Utah House of Representatives, District 11, defeating opponents Mark Openshaw (D) and Becky Maddox.[2]
Ferry raised $74,001 for his campaign while Openshaw raised $12,982 and Maddox raised $583.[3]
