Ward was defeated by incumbent Tim Griffin.[1] Ward ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Arkansas's 2nd District. She faced Herb Rule (D), incumbent Tim Griffin (R) and Chris Hayes (L) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]
