Smith worked for State Farm Insurance for five years.[1] She also worked as a paralegal for an attorney in Bastrop, Louisiana, for 12 years.[2]

Christmas. I love to tell the bible story on Christmas Eve and wake to see the children's eyes light up in the mornings.

I was a victim of the March 2016 flooding in Louisiana.

The records of all businesses in our great state are preserved and protected.
What responsibilities of this office do you personally consider the most important?
Protecting our historical documents is the most important duty of this position. Accuracy on the website with the LLC, Non-Profits, Agent for Service Process matters are the daily parts that must function.
Are there any little-known powers or responsibilities held by this office that you believe more people should be aware of?
Choosing the Museum exhibits.
Do you believe that it's beneficial for holders of this office to have previous experience in government or politics?
Absolutely not.
What kind of skills or expertise do you believe would be the most helpful for the holders of this office to possess?
Hands on work experience. I have 22 years.
