Anthony Mays is the superintendent of the Alief Independent School District. Mays was appointed to this position on November 10, 2022, and started serving as the superintendent on January 3, 2023.[1][2] His previous experience includes working as interim superintendent and Chief of Schools for Austin ISD, among other positions in Dallas ISD, Fort Worth ISD, and Pflugerville ISD.[3]
