Bert Reeves
Bert Reeves (Republican Party) was a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 34. He assumed office on January 12, 2015. He left office on April 30, 2021.
Reeves (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Georgia House of Representatives to represent District 34. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Reeves resigned on April 30, 2021, to become Georgia Institute of Technology's vice president of university relations.[1]
Biography
Bert Reeves was born in Kennesaw, Georgia. As of January 2020, he lived in Marietta, Georgia. He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in management and a law degree from Stetson University. His career experience includes working as an attorney and as the assistant district prosecutor of Cobb County. Reeves has served as a member of the Marietta Rotary Club and the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital Regional Board of Directors.[2]

The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. Albert T. "Bert" Reeves defeated incumbent Charles A. Gregory in the Republican primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[7][8][9]
