The Alabama Barbour County Tax Collection Amendment, also known as Amendment 11, was on the ballot in Alabama on March 2, 1982, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. This measure proposed to allow Barbour County to create one office that would result from the consolidation of the offices of the tax assessor and tax collector.[1]
