Addison Brown
Addison Brown (1830-1913) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
He received a recess appointment from President James Garfield on June 2, 1881 and was nominated on October 12th. He was confirmed by the Senate on October 14, 1881, and received commission that same day. He retired on August 30, 1901.[1] Brown was succeeded in this position by George Bethune Adams.
