Andreas Borgeas (Republican Party) was a member of the California State Senate, representing District 8. He assumed office on December 3, 2018. He left office on December 5, 2022.

Borgeas (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent California's 22nd Congressional District. He did not appear on the ballot for the primary on June 7, 2022.

Borgeas is a former District 2 representative on the Fresno County Board of Supervisors in Fresno County in California. First elected in 2012, he won re-election in 2016.

Biography

Andreas Borgeas was born in Phoenix, Arizona. He earned a law degree from Georgetown University and a Ph.D. in international affairs from Panteion University. Borgeas previously worked as an international law and security affairs professor at the San Joaquin College of Law and the Middlebury Institute of International Studies. He was a member of the Fresno County Board of Supervisors from 2013 to 2018. Borgeas was elected to serve as the State Senator for California Senate District 8.[1]
